Thanks Giving Break

Hi!! I haven't posted blogs for while because of cold weather and preparing for Thanks giving break. My teacher, Mrs. Berzinskas, gave us homework to talk about the first Thanksgiving break as a pilgrims.

Hi!!! My name is Young Seo Lee and today I am going to talk about special day called "Thanks giving break". yeah!! As you know, I am Pilgrims. I am definitely from Europe and I have been enjoy living in America because of better conditions and larger landscape. At the beginning, it was hard for us to make successful harvest because we had to challenge the new environment. However, the Indian, my light-saber, helped us to have successful harvest by giving intelligent advises, or maybe, it's because of Glorious God. We all thankful for both God and Indian. The successful harvest making us to have plentiful of food and convenient life. This is why we made our own holiday to celebrate successful harvest called, "Thanks giving". We usually enjoy eating turkey as our side dishes. This is because, turkey is an animal that lives in America, so it's easy to find them.

What's your favorite thing about fall?

Welcome to Kimchi Young Lee. I haven't posted any blog for while. Anyway today, I am going to talk about fall seasons.
Fall is not my favorite seasons but I really enjoy several things about fall.

First of all, Fall is the season between winter and summer which means, it's not too cold or too hot. Therefore, a lot of people enjoy going on a vacation like visiting Florida before winter and release stress. I still remember that our family used to visit other countries during the fall seasons. This is because, there were a lot of spectacular festival that can experienced different cultures. Furthermore, there were a lot of place where you can enjoy beautiful views with leaves blowing away especially the place where leaves started to change cherry blossoms. On the other hand, those environment also make me feel solitary because all the surrounding people were all chilling with their girlfriends but I am not.

Second of all, my main reason why I like this season is because of Fashion. A lot of famous stylist called Fall, Fashion Season, because this weather gives us to choose variety of different kinds of clothes like wearing winter Jacket, long sleeves, Sweather or etc. Famous stylist, G-Dragon, has his own website of Fall seasons clothes collections. This fashion become so popular among the Korean people all the time because of harmonious color. 

 On the other hand, another way to termed fall is "Tired seasons".  This is because a lot of people feel tired of working on school and missing summer vacation. Therefore, they will always have bad mood and lose desire to do something, so a lot of people prefer staying at home and chill instead of being active in outdoor. 

What if cows gave root beer instead of milk

What if?
Imagine if cows gave root beer instead of milk? It's weird and cool right? I know that root beer taste way better than milk right?
Now, I am going to make story about root beer cows instead of milk. I mean it 's impossible to have those kind of cows but what if....... A lot of people will probably visit that farm and trying to buy it as a high price and it will lead to have fight  until they achieve it like a king throne. It would also upload on you tube and earn highest YouTube viewers. Or some scientist will try to steal that horse and make other fake cows. However, there is other disadvantages of root bear cows, which is cereal. As you know, a lot of people put milk in side of cereal right? But if we put root beer instead of milk? It will be weird and no one will buy cereal because it tastes bad with root bear on it. According to the Internet funny website, they had a survey of what if people eat cereal with other stuff instead of using milk. 70 Percent of people dislike it and 30 percents of people like it. I think it will be so funny that people started to dislike eating cereal and they prefer eating eggs more for breakfast. Yeah!! As a result, I think it's not a good idea to change it to root bear.

Old habit

There are several different kinds of ways to relax and to calm yourself from something, such as nervousness or fear. To overcome those situations, you need your own gestures or habits. Since I mentioned the definition of habit before, now i am going to talk about my old habit, which is our main story of this blog. An old habit, which is a habit that I used to do in the past but no anymore, is sucking my dumb while I was sleeping. I used to suck my thumb to overcome fear of the dark. It was hard for me to sleep by myself when I was young. This is because I often read a lot of scary stories before I went to bed, which lead me to imagining scary creatures, like monsters and aliens were attacking, while I was trying to sleep. Since, I was only 5 years old, I believed those kinds of creatures would appear in front of me and kidnapp me to other place like in an old stories. However, my brother, who was worried about my bad habit, gave me a persuasive suggestion, I would set delicious candy for not being afraid every night. Therefore, it was much easier for me to fix my habit quickly in a short period of time. I think this was the only habit that I used to do when I was young.

Next, I am going to talk about my least favorite part of myself. Even though, i don't have any remarkable part of myself, I would, height. Being a short always lose one pride, which makes him or her feel less confidence. According to the news, most of the people who are short in height had a lower rate of talking in front of audiences than taller people. However, there are some exceptions who have changed their disadvantage tot heir benefit, like G-Dragon. That's why I always try to overcome my disadvantage like him

My habit

A lot of people have their own ways or special habits that can help make him or her less nervous before a performance. For me, biting my teeth is one of my habits that can help me overcome all of my nervousness before a performance. I have been doing this habit since when I was really young. For example, when I had to recite my declamation in front of the whole middle school last year, I bit my teeth to forget my fear of the audience. A lot of people looked at me strangely, but I think all people have their own styles to overcome those situations. Furthermore, I also have another habit to regain my memory--shaking my legs. I often shake my legs when I am taking a huge test or exam. I don't know why, but it sometimes reminds me of an answer that I couldn't remember before. However, there is a Korean superstition that shaking one's legs will deprive good fortune from one's self. Therefore, I always try not to shake my legs.

Next, I am going to talk about my least favorite part of myself. To be honest, I think I don't have any special gifted part of my appearance or characteristic. However, if I have to choose one, the worst part of myself is my height. This summer I turned 16, which is the age for juniors or sophomores, but I am still much smaller than most of the freshmen in our school, who are between 14 and 15 years old. Even though there are a lot of people who succeed in society who are short like me, I still feel bad for myself.

Who am I?.

The reason I chose the blog name "Kimchi Young Lee" is because I wanted to show that I am Korean . As you know, Kimchi is a traditional food in Korea. More than 70 percent of people in Webb asked me about kimchi after they knew I was Korean or sometimes they asked me how Korean people eat spicy food like Kimchi. Speaking of Korea, there are several things that can represent Korea besides Kimchi. 

     First of all, Gangnam Style, a song by Psy, got the most YouTube viewers in the world. I bet at least one third of population in the world has seen that music video. Even though, this song is not popular currently, Korean people are proud of Psy. Because of Gangnam Style, Korean culture is widespread throughout the world. Furthermore, it also changed the trends of dancing style.

   Second of all, North Korea is hot issue in America currently, because they are threatening the world by using nuclear bombs. Furthermore, North Korea is one of the few democracies in the world besides China. The Kim's family has been controlling North Korea since 70 years ago. Kim Jung un, the leader of North Korea, is restricting most of the computer stuff.  The Kim's family is trying to sustain their power by restricting the international interaction.

Anyway, world is watching North Korea currently and they want to free the people in North Korea from Kim kingdom. 

Finally, Samsung, well-Known smart phone company, is a final symbol of Korea. Samsung is one of the top 10 biggest companies in the world. As you know, Apple, rivial against Samsung in smart phone these days, used to be the best smart phone company in the world . According to what I heard from my friend is that most of the people use Samsung besides Americans. This is because Samsung and Apple had a conflict about imitating one's ideas . Therefore, American government restrict the amount of Samsung products in America.
